In this talk we present a new approach to the Problem of Iterates using the recently developed theory on general ultradifferentiable structures associated to weight matrices. As a consequence we obtain the Theorem of Iterates for analytic-hypoelliptic differential operators of principal type with respect to several non-analytic ultradifferentiable structures. This is joint work with Gerhard Schindl.
