Integrable diffeomorphisms and their local normal forms

26.11.2020 09:00 - 10:30

In this talk, I will first talk about the concept of integrability for local diffeomorphisms and its connection with CR singularities.  I will recall the integrability for vector fields and revisit a normal form called geometric linearization. Then I will introduce a similar notion of integrability for (germs of) diffeomorphisms and give their (formal) normal forms under some non-degenerate conditions, and provide sufficient conditions for the analytic normalization and the smooth normalization. If time permits, I hope to ask and discuss some questions about applying integrable systems back to CR singularities.  The talk is based on a joint work with Laurent Stolovitch.
